Better relaxation, sleep quality and overall resilience to stress
Anti-stress – therapy and treatment for stress
Anti-stress osteopathy is an approach within osteopathy that focuses on relieving tension and stress stored in the body.
When working with our patients, we try to understand how stress and tension affect the structures of the body, and then work on restoring balance and harmony.
The anti-stress treatment aims to relieve the symptoms of stress and to help the patient achieve an overall state of balance and harmony between mind and body. It reduces tension throughout the body, deeply calms, improves digestion and lowers stress hormone levels.
Based on osteopathy, the Anti-Stress technique is a holistic treatment method that treats the patient as a whole, aiming to restore the body's natural ability to self-regulate and stay in balance.
Recommended for people experiencing a high level of stress-related tension that affects the body, those who feel wound up or constantly tired, with accumulating digestive symptoms, or with autoimmune conditions.
Who is it for?
Muscle relaxation and tension reduction
Anti-stress osteopathy uses gentle manual techniques to relax tight muscles, especially in the back, neck and shoulders. This can help reduce the physical tension associated with stress.
Improving postural balance
Stress often affects posture, which can lead to muscle tension and pain. Anti-stress osteopathy can help restore postural balance, which helps reduce tension and discomfort.
Treating headaches and migraines
Anti-stress osteopathy can be effective in relieving headaches and migraines, which are often linked to muscle tension and dysfunction of anatomical structures around the head and neck.
Improving breathing
Osteopathic techniques can be applied to the chest and diaphragm to help improve mobility and respiratory function. This can contribute to an overall feeling of relaxation.
Reducing digestive complaints
Stress can have a negative effect on the digestive system. Anti-stress osteopathy can be applied to the abdomen to relieve tension and improve digestive function.
Supporting the nervous system
Anti-stress osteopathy can affect the nervous system through relaxing stimulation, which helps lower stress levels and improve overall wellbeing.
Working on the structures of the skull
Gentle manipulation of the structures of the skull can be part of anti-stress osteopathy, aiming to reduce tension and improve the flow of cerebrospinal fluid.

What our patients say
I am very pleased with our appointment with Ms Marta. From the very beginning her tremendous commitment and professionalism were evident. Ms Marta took a very thorough history, asked about the details and calmly explained everything. I felt that she genuinely wanted to understand the whole situation, rather than just quickly assess my child.
The appointment lasted a full hour and forty minutes – nobody rushed us, and all the attention was focused on my daughter. I really appreciate that Ms Marta had her own opinion and didn't just say what a parent would like to hear. She was able to present her observations calmly and objectively, even when they differed from my assumptions.
She has a wonderful way with such young children. You could see a great deal of patience and experience. Even when my daughter didn't always want to cooperate, Ms Marta was able to adapt the assessment to what she could manage. I left with a wealth of knowledge and the feeling that my child had been in good hands. I definitely recommend Ms Marta.
I warmly recommend Ms Weronika! I came to her at 30 weeks pregnant with terrible back pain radiating to my breastbone, which meant I could only sit and had trouble breathing. Ms Weronika showed tremendous knowledge, complete professionalism, commitment and empathy. She used gentle, safe techniques as well as taping. The relief was immediate – I left the practice pain-free, could finally breathe freely and lie down without pain. A wonderful specialist!
I've just had my first appointment with Ms Weronika Kukuś and I'm left with a very positive impression. Ms Weronika was professional, took a thorough history, explained everything clearly and proposed a treatment plan. The appointment took place in a pleasant atmosphere and I felt very well looked after.
I truly recommend her with all my heart!
You feel looked after from your very first contact with the practice! The receptionist is absolutely lovely. The appointment itself with Weronika Kukuś, MSc – worth every złoty. A fantastic approach to the patient; every part of the appointment was discussed so that nothing would take me by surprise or feel uncomfortable. The factors the doctor focused on were analysed in detail according to their importance, followed by a summary of which muscle work I should concentrate on after the appointment. During the appointment the doctor checked several times that everything was clear to me, worked with me at the pace I needed and, as I say, from the very first moments at FizjoStyl I felt that as a patient I had come to a place where I matter most and where everyone is keen to help me and make sure I feel comfortable. We need more places like this!
I highly recommend physiotherapist Konrad Niziankiewicz – professional, committed and genuinely effective. From the very first appointment I felt comfortable and knew I was in good hands. Thanks to his help I quickly noticed an improvement. He is also very kind and creates a friendly atmosphere during appointments.
A cosy green practice
My daughter had an appointment with Mr Konrad – a very nice way with children, he quickly built a rapport with her. He thoroughly examined what was causing her open-mouth problem, recommended suitable exercises to do at home and follow-up appointments every so often to monitor how her muscles are working with the orthodontic brace.
An added bonus is the convenient location – close to public transport, with a large car park on Wolska Street.
Recommended
Highly recommended! As soon as you walk in, you can see that the practice is attractive and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel at ease. The urogynaecological physiotherapy was carried out professionally and with great attentiveness. Ms Weronika is exceptionally competent – it's immediately clear that she has extensive knowledge and experience. The appointment took place in a relaxed atmosphere and I felt completely looked after. I will certainly be back, both to continue the therapy and for other treatments.
I definitely recommend Ms Karolina Rado – an absolute sweetheart, helpful and so lovely. Every session takes place in a pleasant atmosphere and is very comfortable 🙂 after the very first appointment I already felt hopeful that things would get better 🙂
