Pain relief osteopathy – FizjoStyl Krakow

Identifying and treating the causes of pain for a lasting improvement in health

Pain relief osteopathy is an effective approach to relieving pain through holistic manipulation of the body's structures.

Pain relief osteopathy in physiotherapy

It uses gentle manual techniques such as joint manipulation, soft tissue massage and craniosacral therapy to reduce tension and restore biomechanical balance.

As osteopathic therapists, we are guided by the understanding that pain can result from dysfunction in various areas of the body, not only where the symptoms are felt.

Pain relief osteopathy can be used for a variety of conditions, such as back pain, migraines, joint pain or dysfunction of the internal organs.

This approach not only relieves symptoms but also focuses on identifying and removing the causes of pain.

The ultimate goal is to restore the patient's comfort, improve the body's function and enhance their quality of life.

Who is it for?

Back pain Pain relief osteopathy can be effective in treating various types of spinal pain, including back pain, neck pain and lower back pain. Joint manipulation, soft tissue massage and other techniques can help relieve tension and restore proper biomechanics.

Joint pain

For joint pain, pain relief osteopathy can be used to improve joint mobility, reduce swelling and ease discomfort. Joint manipulation and manual therapy aim to restore balance within the joints.

Migraines and headaches

We treat the areas of the skull and neck, using gentle manipulation that helps reduce tension and the frequency of headaches.

Myofascial pain

Pain relief osteopathy can be effective in treating muscle pain, especially pain resulting from fascial tension. Soft tissue massage techniques and manipulation help relax tight muscles.

Internal organ dysfunction

Pain relief osteopathy also includes the assessment and treatment of the internal organs. Manipulation of the abdomen can support organ function and relieve associated pain.

Rehabilitation after injuries and surgery

After injuries or surgery, pain relief osteopathy can be an effective part of rehabilitation. It helps reduce pain, improve range of motion and restore normal body function.

I am very pleased with our appointment with Ms Marta. From the very beginning her tremendous commitment and professionalism were evident. Ms Marta took a very thorough history, asked about the details and calmly explained everything. I felt that she genuinely wanted to understand the whole situation, rather than just quickly assess my child.

The appointment lasted a full hour and forty minutes – nobody rushed us, and all the attention was focused on my daughter. I really appreciate that Ms Marta had her own opinion and didn't just say what a parent would like to hear. She was able to present her observations calmly and objectively, even when they differed from my assumptions.

She has a wonderful way with such young children. You could see a great deal of patience and experience. Even when my daughter didn't always want to cooperate, Ms Marta was able to adapt the assessment to what she could manage. I left with a wealth of knowledge and the feeling that my child had been in good hands. I definitely recommend Ms Marta.

I warmly recommend Ms Weronika! I came to her at 30 weeks pregnant with terrible back pain radiating to my breastbone, which meant I could only sit and had trouble breathing. Ms Weronika showed tremendous knowledge, complete professionalism, commitment and empathy. She used gentle, safe techniques as well as taping. The relief was immediate – I left the practice pain-free, could finally breathe freely and lie down without pain. A wonderful specialist!

You feel looked after from your very first contact with the practice! The receptionist is absolutely lovely. The appointment itself with Weronika Kukuś, MSc – worth every złoty. A fantastic approach to the patient; every part of the appointment was discussed so that nothing would take me by surprise or feel uncomfortable. The factors the doctor focused on were analysed in detail according to their importance, followed by a summary of which muscle work I should concentrate on after the appointment. During the appointment the doctor checked several times that everything was clear to me, worked with me at the pace I needed and, as I say, from the very first moments at FizjoStyl I felt that as a patient I had come to a place where I matter most and where everyone is keen to help me and make sure I feel comfortable. We need more places like this!

A cosy green practice
My daughter had an appointment with Mr Konrad – a very nice way with children, he quickly built a rapport with her. He thoroughly examined what was causing her open-mouth problem, recommended suitable exercises to do at home and follow-up appointments every so often to monitor how her muscles are working with the orthodontic brace.
An added bonus is the convenient location – close to public transport, with a large car park on Wolska Street.

Highly recommended! As soon as you walk in, you can see that the practice is attractive and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel at ease. The urogynaecological physiotherapy was carried out professionally and with great attentiveness. Ms Weronika is exceptionally competent – it's immediately clear that she has extensive knowledge and experience. The appointment took place in a relaxed atmosphere and I felt completely looked after. I will certainly be back, both to continue the therapy and for other treatments.
