How we help
Low muscle tone
The child is “floppy”, struggles to lift their head and finds it hard to hold a position.
Delayed motor development
Rolling over, sitting, crawling or walking appear later than expected.
Prematurity
Supporting the motor development of children born prematurely.
Skull deformities in newborns
Flattening and asymmetry of the head – the area Marta works with most often.
Who this visit is for
The visit is intended for babies and young children – from birth up to a few years old – with a disability or with difficulties in motor development. Marta most enjoys working with the youngest children.
We see children who can get to our Kliny clinic (ul. Wicherkiewicza 23/K) – the entrance is step-free and easy to manage with a pushchair, and there are 2 parking spaces by the clinic. Adults with physical disabilities are seen as part of our home visits.
Physiotherapy does not replace medical care. If you notice worrying symptoms in your child – a sudden change in behaviour, vomiting, seizures or a clear deterioration – contact your paediatrician first.
Who provides the therapy
Marta Konieczna – MSc in physiotherapy (University of Physical Education in Krakow), paediatric physiotherapist. She spent several years working with children at an outpatient clinic, and at FizjoStyl she sees patients in Kliny. She focuses especially on newborns and infants, including skull deformities.
Her training includes the DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation) in paediatrics course (Rehabilitation Prague School) as well as courses in osteopathic and manual therapy for children; she is also a baby swimming instructor. The next course she is starting is the Vojta method.

→What our patients say
I am very pleased with our appointment with Ms Marta. From the very beginning her tremendous commitment and professionalism were evident. Ms Marta took a very thorough history, asked about the details and calmly explained everything. I felt that she genuinely wanted to understand the whole situation, rather than just quickly assess my child.
The appointment lasted a full hour and forty minutes – nobody rushed us, and all the attention was focused on my daughter. I really appreciate that Ms Marta had her own opinion and didn't just say what a parent would like to hear. She was able to present her observations calmly and objectively, even when they differed from my assumptions.
She has a wonderful way with such young children. You could see a great deal of patience and experience. Even when my daughter didn't always want to cooperate, Ms Marta was able to adapt the assessment to what she could manage. I left with a wealth of knowledge and the feeling that my child had been in good hands. I definitely recommend Ms Marta.
I warmly recommend Ms Weronika! I came to her at 30 weeks pregnant with terrible back pain radiating to my breastbone, which meant I could only sit and had trouble breathing. Ms Weronika showed tremendous knowledge, complete professionalism, commitment and empathy. She used gentle, safe techniques as well as taping. The relief was immediate – I left the practice pain-free, could finally breathe freely and lie down without pain. A wonderful specialist!
I've just had my first appointment with Ms Weronika Kukuś and I'm left with a very positive impression. Ms Weronika was professional, took a thorough history, explained everything clearly and proposed a treatment plan. The appointment took place in a pleasant atmosphere and I felt very well looked after.
I truly recommend her with all my heart!
You feel looked after from your very first contact with the practice! The receptionist is absolutely lovely. The appointment itself with Weronika Kukuś, MSc – worth every złoty. A fantastic approach to the patient; every part of the appointment was discussed so that nothing would take me by surprise or feel uncomfortable. The factors the doctor focused on were analysed in detail according to their importance, followed by a summary of which muscle work I should concentrate on after the appointment. During the appointment the doctor checked several times that everything was clear to me, worked with me at the pace I needed and, as I say, from the very first moments at FizjoStyl I felt that as a patient I had come to a place where I matter most and where everyone is keen to help me and make sure I feel comfortable. We need more places like this!
I highly recommend physiotherapist Konrad Niziankiewicz – professional, committed and genuinely effective. From the very first appointment I felt comfortable and knew I was in good hands. Thanks to his help I quickly noticed an improvement. He is also very kind and creates a friendly atmosphere during appointments.
A cosy green practice
My daughter had an appointment with Mr Konrad – a very nice way with children, he quickly built a rapport with her. He thoroughly examined what was causing her open-mouth problem, recommended suitable exercises to do at home and follow-up appointments every so often to monitor how her muscles are working with the orthodontic brace.
An added bonus is the convenient location – close to public transport, with a large car park on Wolska Street.
Recommended
Highly recommended! As soon as you walk in, you can see that the practice is attractive and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel at ease. The urogynaecological physiotherapy was carried out professionally and with great attentiveness. Ms Weronika is exceptionally competent – it's immediately clear that she has extensive knowledge and experience. The appointment took place in a relaxed atmosphere and I felt completely looked after. I will certainly be back, both to continue the therapy and for other treatments.
I definitely recommend Ms Karolina Rado – an absolute sweetheart, helpful and so lovely. Every session takes place in a pleasant atmosphere and is very comfortable 🙂 after the very first appointment I already felt hopeful that things would get better 🙂

Frequently asked questions
Is a referral needed?
No. Visits are private and do not require a referral. Your child's medical records (discharge summaries, doctors' opinions, test results, previous recommendations) are very helpful in planning therapy – please bring them to the first visit.
Are visits covered by the NFZ (Poland's public health fund)?
No, we only see patients privately. A visit lasts 55 minutes and costs 190 zł.
What ages do you see?
Mainly babies and young children – from birth up to a few years old. Babies up to 1 year old can also benefit from neurodevelopmental therapy for infants.
I'm not sure which visit to choose – paediatric rehabilitation or infant therapy?
Give us a call: 881 505 588 – we will help you choose between rehabilitation for children with disabilities, neurodevelopmental therapy for infants and paediatric rehabilitation. All visits with Marta last 55 minutes and cost 190 zł.
Is a parent present during therapy?
Yes, always. A parent takes part in the visit – they know the child best and they are the one who continues the exercises at home.
Is the clinic accessible with a pushchair?
Yes. The Kliny clinic has a step-free entrance that is easy to manage with a pushchair. There are 2 parking spaces for patients by the clinic.
My child already has therapy at a centre or through the NFZ – does that rule this out?
Not necessarily. Bring your current programme and recommendations with you – that way the visits can complement each other.
How often do we need to come?
It depends on your child's needs and the goals of therapy. We agree on a plan after the first visit and discuss it with the parents; part of the work is carried over into everyday play at home.
What should we bring to the visit?
Medical records, comfortable clothes for your child, a nappy, a favourite toy and something to drink.
How do I book?
The quickest way is online – the “Book a visit” button opens a calendar with available times. You can also call: 881 505 588 or book through Booksy or ZnanyLekarz.
I don't know which therapist to choose. What should I do?
Book a free 15-minute consultation. We will discuss your problem and suggest which therapy and which therapist suit it.
